12 October 2026 - The First Blog from the Marquee Pros

Every website needs somewhere to share a little more than product descriptions and booking information. So, here it is: our first blog post from SuperBounce Marquees!

We're starting this blog to share news about our marquee hire services, useful event planning advice, information about our products and ideas for making the most of your available space. Whether you're arranging a communion in Drogheda, a wedding reception in Navan, a birthday celebration in Dundalk or a corporate function in Dublin, we hope you'll find something useful here.

And since this is our first post, we thought we'd begin by introducing what we do, where we operate and some of the equipment available to hire.

A Little About SuperBounce Marquees

SuperBounce Marquees provides marquee hire and event equipment rental in Louth, Meath and Dublin. Based in Drogheda, we help customers organise covered spaces for family celebrations, weddings, parties, corporate functions and other occasions.

Some customers need a small marquee for a garden party. Others are organising events for 80 or 100 guests and require a much larger structure, complete with flooring, tables, chairs and lighting.

That's why we offer several marquee sizes and different package options. Rather than expecting everyone to hire the same equipment, we want customers to be able to choose the arrangement that suits their event.

From Small Garden Parties to Events for 100 Guests

One of the most useful things about marquee hire is the choice of sizes. A marquee for a family birthday doesn't necessarily need to be the same size as one for a wedding reception or a large confirmation celebration.

Our marquee hire range includes:

These capacities are guides, and the best marquee for your occasion will depend on how you intend to use the space. Tables, chairs, refreshments and other equipment all need to be considered when deciding on a suitable size.

Not Every Marquee Booking Needs the Same Package

Here's something we'll probably return to in future blog posts: choosing the right marquee is only half the decision. You also need to think about what comes with it.

For many of our marquee sizes, we offer three main hire arrangements.

Marquee Frame Only

Our marquee frame-only options are intended for customers who need the covered structure but don't require supplied flooring or furniture. These may be worth considering when suitable equipment has already been arranged.

Marquee Frame and Flooring

Our frame-and-flooring packages include the marquee structure and flooring. They're an option for customers who want a defined floor surface but prefer to organise furniture separately.

Full Marquee Packages

Our full marquee packages include additional equipment according to the individual product specification. These are particularly useful to consider when organising a larger event and wanting several of the main hire items supplied together.

We'll be sharing more advice about these options in future articles, including when flooring may be useful and how to work out which package best suits your plans.

It's Not Just Marquees!

While marquees are a major part of what we provide, there's plenty more to our hire range.

Once you've chosen a suitable covered space, the next decisions often involve where guests will sit, how food will be served and what equipment you'll need as the event progresses.

Our marquee furniture range includes 6ft Timber Trestle Tables, 5ft Round Tables and 3ft Round Standing Tables.

We also offer White Folding Chairs and Chiavari Chairs, giving customers different seating options depending on the occasion.

For finishing touches, we supply tablecloths and marquee lighting, including 25m Festoon Lights and LED Uplighters.

You can browse these products together in our Marquee Party Extras section, or view everything available through our All Products page.

Marquee Hire for the Celebrations That Matter to You

There isn't one particular type of event that requires a marquee. Different customers have different reasons for hiring one, and the requirements can change considerably depending on the occasion.

Communions and confirmations are popular reasons for arranging additional covered space at home, particularly when extended family members are attending.

Birthday parties and anniversaries may benefit from a dedicated area for seating, refreshments and socialising.

Weddings and wedding-related celebrations often involve more detailed decisions about furniture, table arrangements and lighting.

Corporate events may require a practical covered area for employees, visitors or business hospitality.

We'll be looking at these different event types in future posts, including the questions worth asking before booking and the equipment that may be useful for each occasion.

What Will We Be Writing About Next?

We don't want this blog to be a collection of articles that simply tell you to hire a marquee. Instead, we'll be using it to answer some of the questions that come up when organising an event.

Future topics may include:

  • How to choose the right marquee size for your guest list.
  • Things to check before arranging marquee hire in your garden.
  • Marquee ideas for communions and confirmations.
  • Choosing tables and chairs for a wedding reception.
  • The differences between frame-only and full marquee packages.
  • Planning an outdoor celebration during the colder months.
  • Making practical use of lighting for evening events.
  • Organising marquee hire for corporate functions.

We'll also use this section to share information about our hire range and other relevant company news.

One Final Thing Before We Go...

If you're visiting our website because you've got an event coming up, you don't need to have every detail worked out before contacting us.

Knowing your event date, location and approximate guest numbers is a good starting point. If you've already measured the proposed marquee area or have a particular package in mind, that's useful information too.

From there, we can discuss the available marquee sizes, equipment options and delivery arrangements.

Take a look through our marquees and party extras, or contact SuperBounce Marquees directly. You can also call us on 086 272 8333.

Thanks for reading our first blog. We look forward to sharing more useful marquee hire and event planning advice with you soon!
